Countdown on my iPhone says 13 days, 6 hours and 22 minutes and I will be getting on an airplane for Cairo, Egypt. Road Scholar is making this dream of a little girl whose Mom read every night from Egermeier’s Bible Stories come true as I see the sights that Joseph and Moses saw every day. Now that I am retired, I finally have the time to travel!
There will be 14 new friends on this study trip.

We were assigned books to read and I will be excited to have a class every day with a knowledgeable Egyptologist. This will be an eye-opening experience.
For the past 11 years I have been a member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Every visit (4 or more a year) always begins in the Egyptian Section on first floor. I still don’t think I’ve seen it all.
I plan to write this blog every day and to include some photos. This will be my journal of my time in Egypt and I hope you enjoy seeing it through my eyes.
Please feel free to comment on the blog I would love to hear from you.

I am looking forward to following your Journey❣️ Safe Travels ❣️
