Dear Family and Friends and my new Scythian Family!

Our last day as a castle resident. So many experiences and so little time to review. Today for some was spend on the grounds exploring the castle, learning about the skills from days gone by with trying their had at archery or working with the falconers.

Photos from inside the castle:

Breakfast on this trip have been amazing, many choices and more that one could eat at one sitting.
After breakfast two buses made the short trip to Limerick. From the bus we were able to see the Shannon River, King John’s Castle that he never got to use and then on to Bunratty and shopping.

What a beautiful morning again. Sunshine and a blue sky for most of the day. Even in the rain the sky produces a beautiful rainbow.

Our second evening meal at the castle was outstanding! Not only did we have time to learn about new friends at the table, we celebrated four birthdays, two today, and two for tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Babs and Scott
This blog post is late as the evening was filled with music, laughter and good friends. Ellen started this blog at 7:00 pm and then went to the venue at the castle a small cozy room for non acoustic music by Scythian or The Lads as Keith calls them. I was late and several gentlemen in the group offered me a seat. “I’ll just stand” says I…then Dan called out, “Ellen, come up here and sit on the sofa by me” At first I said that I was Ok but Bonnie said “Ellen, How can you turn that down.” So I was there until after 11:30. What a thrill. However I was too close for any good photos. The perfect ending of a perfect day.

Dan and Fritz …A new use for your Smart Phone…a songbook!
Time to close… so my suitcases can go on the bus. An unbelievable trip!
