Tyler, Ellie, Anna & friends,

Welcome aboard, Viking Gersemi! Arrived at 10:30 am from our restful night in Basel. Ray got 12 hours of sleep, Ellen only 10.5 hours as I was online to write. Coming on this trip a day early was really worth it! We couldn’t of had a better staff taking care of us!

Our plan for the day is a walking tour of Basel after lunch at noon. Right now I’m enjoying relaxation on the Rhine River in very comfortable seats in the lounge area on our ship!

Our journey will take us on the Rhine river to Amsterdam. Looking forward to taking you with us in this trip!

PS: we are 6 hours ahead of North Carolina and 7 hours ahead of Arkansas.
