The Land of Fairy Tales & Cuckoo Clocks

Tyler, Ellie & Anna,

It is Friday morning and we have arrived at our port on the Rhine River to visit the Black Forest. Our journey took us through beautiful countryside in the rain.

We passed through several lovely villages. Even in the rain the countryside was beautiful!

This is the land of dark misty woods, romantic dwellings that have not changed in centuries. It is the land of the Grimm brothers and their stories of Hantzel and Gretel Little Red riding hood, Rumpelstiltskin, and Snow White.

Our trip include a cuckoo, clock factory, glass blowing, and a cake making class for the Black Forest Cake
